How do you get an overview of the necessary measures?
The interaction between different systems – such as discovery services or link-out systems – and, for example, the library system is also relevant here. The starting points vary, as each institution uses different login and management systems and has implemented different approaches to interoperability in the past.
The major advantages of HAN lie in the flexible adaptability of the system integration and, furthermore, in the three areas of authentication, external access and statistical analysis of end-user access.
In addition, an overview is drawn up of which online resources are available, which are to be purchased and which online resources you may not yet have access to. We then work with you to draw up a detailed plan for managing the online resources. This will also result in the technical requirements that are necessary for the use of HAN.
We are also available as a competent partner for content providers for questions relating to the evaluation of the use of online resources and the resulting licensing.
